Note to Media Outlets:
Ballet Vermont has a folder of images and information that we can make available for publications for all of our projects. We are also able to coordinate phone/in person interviews with directors, coordinators, dancers and musicians with enough lead time. Please use this form to be in touch with us. If you experience any issues with the online contact form, please email katie@balletvermont.org |

Amy Overstreet,
Media Liason

Amy Overstreet is serving as an outreach assistant in support of Farm to Ballet and joined the effort in the spring of last year when she wrote an article about it for Seven Days. After learning about the unique project, she was motivated, inspired, and hooked! She was a former ballet dancer for 20 years (Columbia City Ballet, Carolina Ballet, Boston Ballet, Richmond Ballet) and a dance critic for an arts and entertainment weekly in Columbia, SC, for 12 years. She and her fiancé moved to Vermont in 2015 after being born, raised, and living in the same SC zipcode for 42 years. She has served as a public information officer for the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service for 21 years. She earned a degree in English and Art History from Wofford College (1994) and a Masters in Film and Scriptwriting (1998). She looks forward to merging her passions for dance and agriculture by spreading the exciting news about this innovative project.
