Sponsor A Costume- Spot it on stage!

We are proud to say that our costumes and props were all designed and handcrafted by a variety of Vermonters! In summer 2016, we discovered and worked with Emily Reynolds of Barre Town, VT to design and sew several of our costumes. This year she is back- with a vision that will leave audiences experiencing the wonder and beauty of nature's creation's transformed into tulle, beads, brocade, satin, velvet and lace.
Each year, we upgrade our costumes and we need your help! We would love to invite our supporters to consider sponsoring a costume! All sponsors will be recognized in our playbill as the costume sponsor. What could possibly be a more concrete way to help make this show a reality?
To sponsor a costume:
  • Click through the selections below and select your choice!
  • Come to a show to spot your costume on stage!
  • See your name in the playbill as a generous supporter who made this costume come to life!
  • After the show, we would love to get your picture with you and the ballerina/o in their costume!

"I'm so excited to be returning to the Farm to Ballet Project for A 4th season of costume creation. It's such A fun and challenging Project, So much costume work is altering and styling but here everything is handmade and created solely for this project. I'm always learning new techniques and more about construction as the work continues."-Emily Reynolds

2019 Sponsorship Opportunities

This year we will be adding in several new dances and a few new characters. You can look forward to the sweet charm of our new SHEEP! The naughty tomatoes will finally get their own featured dance. And making her way onto the scene will be a sneaky barn cat- sure to be a new audience favorite!

Meet Emily

Emily Reynolds earned a BA from St. Michael's college where she designed for St. Michael's student productions and interned with the professional St. Michael's Playhouse Costume shop. Her design and costume work appears at theaters, festivals and schools, including: Farm to Ballet, Lost Nation Theater, Vermont Youth Theater, Moving Light School of Dance and at regional contemporary dance and ballet venues.
In addition to costuming, Emily has worked in theater education, journalism, acting and bridal design. She originated the role of "Agnes" in Katherine Paterson's book-turned-musical, The Great Gilly Hopkins. Her adaptation of A Midsummer Night's Dream featured her handmade designs on exuberant adolescents from a rural Vermont school with no previous theater program.  A native Vermonter, Emily lives in Barre Town with her husband and son.
